FIT VIDYALAYA
Fit Vidyalaya, an unique programme to develop physical fitness and move towards a more physically active lifestyle among the students studying from 3rd std to 9th std in Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School was inaugurated on 28 July 2022. 30 lessons were specially prepared by an expert committee for each class for achieving the purpose.
Swami Garishthananda, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya spoke about the significance of the programme and inaugurated. Around 500 Boys and 400 Girls attended the programme.
Seventy Physical education teacher trainees from Maruthi College of Physical Education, Faculty of GAPEY and Avinashilingam University took the fitness classes.
The 10th lesson of Fit Vidyalaya programme was organised for 537 boys studying from 6th std to 9th std in Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School on 17th November,2022 .
The 10th class of Fit Vidyalaya programme was organised for 437 girls studying from 3rd std to 9th std in Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School on 18th November,2022
Teacher trainees from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women (48), Maruthi College of Physical Education (18)and Faculty of GAPEY (16) took the fitness classes.

The 9th class of Fit Vidyalaya programme was organised for the 437 girls studying from 3rd std to 9th std in Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School on 28th October,2022
